Default 98 transfer case question.....grrrrrrr

went to the mountains here in VA this past weekend, and discovered that my xj doesn't want to stay in 4 LO. High range works just fine, get er in 4 LO and put a lil bit to her, and POW! no more 4 lo
we do have a 2" spacer/shackle lift on it (came with it...) wonnerin if this is a lift associated mess....or maybe there is a linkage issue....or worse
Thanx.....Scott

Scott COS is right but you need to also check the engine and tranny mounts. They in addition to out of adjustment are the chief causes of the jump out of Lo condition.
