'98 TJ to '01 XJ Transfer case swap

'98 TJ to '01 XJ Transfer case swap
Does anybody know if an NP231 from a 1998 TJ will swap straight into my 2001 XJ? If not, what needs to be done to make the swap happen? Thanks in advance
