I replaced the rear main seal in my jeep over the weekend let all the gasket maker set up and when I started it today it made a terrible grinding noise. Asked a friend of a friend what he thought and said it might be the starter got over tightened. I took care to make sure I followed the videos online I seen to a T watched several different videos to compare between the way people did it so I could make sure I’m on the right track. Has anyone ran into this problem. I’m scared to even try start it again without getting some opinions on the situation.
