98 Cherokee Injector Swap Help
Hey people, i am new to this forum, but a memeber of the new charger forum, and brand new to the jeep world, so far so good. I have a 98 cherokee sport and have been reading about injector swap for 4 hole ones, i have searched and cant get diehard data for what i exactly need, gonna go to the jy and get some, but cam someone list out what i need to get and any other mods needed to do the swap. I am a mechanic, so i understand the swap, just need to know anything other than the obvious. Thanks all, Joey

There are tons of threads on the subject here on this forum. I'm not trying to be a jerk, just use the search function.
First off you need to know which injectors fit your year. (there is a sheet floating around here, search)
If you stay with the dodge you either need 703 or 784 ( those are the last three numbers on the injector) depending on your year.
or you can go the ford route but you have to change the connectors.
for what you need.
1. a good cleaning(if there from the jy, there is a video on here on how to do it)
2. the proper o rings always use new.
how to clean, what years to look for in the downer car, and everything else you need is on here.

I'll continue my search, was just hoping someone with a 98 that has done it and could confirm the right ones would chime in. I've been finding tons of threads, just trying to pin point exactly.
thanks for those part numbers, that helps. not sure if I'll hit the JY, probably just try and pick some up on ebay.
by the way... the search function on forums suck! I find the best way is to use your search engine, type in what you're looking for and also include cherokeeforum if you are looking for something specific on this site.
thanks, I'll update my findings here
