Default 98 Cherokee Flashers

Turn signals do not work, hazards do work though. I have already tried replacing the relay, at first my boss picked me up one that had only 2 prongs on it, i put it in and it fixed my turn signals, but then the hazards stopped working. So when I went and bought the oem replacement one, it still doesn't fix my turn signals, only the hazards work.

I replaced the relay once before and I noticed there was another relay right beside the one I am working with now that looked identical, it was just white instead of black. That isn't there anymore so my guess is someone who did work on the truck cut that out because now its all taped up. A guy had just replaced a fuse to fix my over head lights, radio, dashboard, and power locks. He says he didn't touch anything that had to do with this issue though, but they did work before he had the truck and now they don't.

Anyway, enough blabbing. My question is, what is left to check besides wiring? Or should I just go back and get that relay that had two prongs and just not have hazards?

Thanks to any feedback.

I'd find out exactly what he removed. Was this a legit business where you can take it back?
If it works with the 2-prong flasher, are you positive the OEM replacement is the correct part?

I bought the same flasher relay that was in the truck. Which is also the same one I got like a year or two back when I did the replacement myself, I don't have the part number on hand but they matched the receipt I had from Napa.
And yea I can take it back, but he told me all he did was pop the hood and change a fuse, hes a good family friend so I can't see him doing anything differently then what he tells me.

I guess I'm just gonna put a 2 prong relay in. No luck after searching until now. Someone stole the connector so thats all I can do unless I get one from the junkyard.

Id pull relay box and check for current in and out of connector . You've checked fuses at both boxes
