Default 98 cherokee classic. hazards come on with turn signal

Hello everyone,

I have a 1998 jeep cherokee classic with the l6 4.0 engine. I'm having a very strange issue. When i turn my left turn signal on, my hazard lights come on. I've done some research, but haven't come up with a whole lot. Any advise? anyone having any of the same issues?

Easy fix, go to autozone or your favorite parts store and get a new turn signal switch module. You will get the entire switch and handle that mounts on the steering column. I had the same exact issue and changing the switch on the column finally fixed it after switch the blinker relay, bulbs, etc. $36.99 at autozone: http://www.autozone.com/autozone/par...ier=268030_0_0_
