98 to 96 gauge cluster swap

Hi guys/gals,
I was curious if the 1998 Cherokee XJ Gauge cluster would swap into a 1996 Jeep Cherokee XJ? Its something I was considering doing on mine. Any help would be appreciated.

No. The dash and cluster are completely different between the two years.
