Ok you've proven that your old pressure switch was just a bit off, this doesn't prove, not to me anyway (yet), that you have an engine issue. The gauge is electronic, it could be failing also. The only way is to hook up a mechanical gauge and see what the actual pressure is. Just my 2 cents. Coach
yea...you REALLY need to check it with a mechanical gauge...
well , i havent gotten the mechanical gauge yet ... but heres an update . lets say i drive on the roads for a good 15 minutes of stop and go driving so its nice and hot .
i then pull into a convenient store for something and come back out and start her up ... what will happen once in a while is the car will start , but the pressure gauge stays at 0 . and then once i give the pedal a slight flick of RPMs , itll pop back up and all is well . the rest of the drive itll be normal .
this also seems to happen more ofter if i just poop the key in and crank it over in one motion , instead of letting the keys rest for 1 second at the ON switch so the fuel pump pressurizes .
heres a video i took for you guys of me with the car started andit sitting there, then pressing the gas slightly to bring it back up .
