The blower motor does not get any power.
When it was working, I did notice an intermittent squeaking coming from the blower motor. This happened a few times up until it stopped working.
The last time it worked properly I drove somewhere, blower was running, squeaking on and off at that time. I parked and shut the vehicle off for about 30 minutes. I got back in it, started up the jeep but the blower never came back on.
So far I think I've tested all the appropriate fuses and relays. I've replaced the resistor as well.
I've also looked at the switch on the dash and it doesn't seem to have any issues with melting or anything like described in other situations that have a similar issue.
Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you

Test with a DMM, electrical can appear good and be defective. Do you have 12 V at the front side of the switch? if not back track it from there.Originally Posted by quickstatuss

I have a problem with mine where the plug seems to intermittently un-seat itself from the blower motor and it loses an electrical connection.

Hey thanks for the help! I'm going to check this on Wednesday and I'll report back. From all of the research I've done it sure does seem like it's the switch, because I think when my fan died it probably took the switch out with it. So I'm guessing I'll end up needing a new switch and a new fan.Originally Posted by Turbo X_J

I'll keep an eye out for this, but I don't think it's the problem I'm having. I've unplugged and tested the harness going to the blower motor and it's not getting any power at all. that plug is a really awkward fit though so I can definitely see how that can be an issue too.Originally Posted by thatXJguy
