I have a guy that wants to sell me two mirrors off a 98 for $75 bucks because one of mine is broke and the other is about to go. Mine has power mirrors and so does the 98 ones that i want. Will they plug right in or do wires have to be spliced? Thanks.
And please don't tel me to search, trust me, i tried.

If the mounts match, would be the real question. It should. Whether or not the plugs match is kinda non-issue when only 2 wires are concerned.

Plugs probably will not connect. You will have to fab up a harness. However, you don't need to connect the wires unless you're looking for heat. I swapped '99 mirrors into my '92 about 6 years ago. I never connected the power since the wires are different colors, and if I remember correctly, there are 4 versus 5 wires in the different styles. But you won't miss the power feature. For the newer power mirrors you simply manually click the glass into position & they stay that way until you click them for a different driver. They pretty much lock into place. I clicked the glass into position & haven't had to touch them since. They are a big improvement in design over our stock mirrors. Completely bolt-in with the added bonus of being able to fold them into the body when you go thru tight spots. I used to rip my stock mirrors off all the time on trees but no more.
