So i just bought a 97 cherokee thats been sitting for about a year i knew the guy that owned it and he didnt have any problems with it ive seen it run and drive but again that was a year ago. So i towed it to my house since the driveline was out of it and i charged the battery and put fresh gas in it but when i went to start it all my dash lights came on but it wont start. The motor doesnt turn over and really nothing happens at all. I dont really have the money for a mechanic and i dont wanna start ripping it apart unless i have some idea what is going on anyone have any ideas? i checked my ground and made sure my battery terminals/connections were clean and like i said i get power to all my lights.

more info! does it even , or is there just the clicking of the starter? my guesses at this point are the NSS or the CPS... try putting it in N and see if it will start? if so its tne NSS needs to be cleaned or replaced. AIR/FUEL/SPARK: without all of these properly being delivered, there will be issues, so make sure that all these are good.
