The part time 4WD of my 97 Cherokee has been working fine for the last 11 years other than the fact that it has not been disengaging cleanly for the last 5. This year I have noticed it either pulling to the right or wobbling to the left and right. A mechanic told me I need a new U joint on the left front wheel. Would this cause the steering problem?
Oh yeah, I have not been very good about maintaining the front transfer case so I am not too surprised.
