I just installed a 2001 intake manifold and it came with a TB, but I used my old 97 throttle body.
Is there any difference between the 2? Would it be better to use the newer throttle body? I also reused my 1" TB spcer witht he new manifold but I am thinking I should have just mounted it without the spacer because the 2001 did not have a spacer.

They are the same. The 96 and up throttle bodies are the same as they have the MAP sensor mounted directly on the TB. The 91 to 95 are different as they have the MAP mounted on the firewall, like the Renix era Jeeps.
