I've got a 96 xj. And when when I turn the key to the ON position a injector keeps clicking. I also wasn't getting spark and went through and replaced a bad ignition coil, new cap and rotor and just replaced the crank position sensor. The battery is good. I take it out of my DD and into the jeep. Pulled a few plugs. And it is getting plenty of fuel. Especially the cylinder the injector is clicking on. Help would be greatly appreciated. Still no spark?
The clicking injector- is it a steady click or intermittent? Intermittent I'd check the wiring harness. Shake it and see if it changes. Steady I'd look at the PCM for an injector driver failure.

 

It's pretty consistent. And still no spark. Going to buy a new pickup switch (cam position sensor) in a minute. Does the PCM control spark as well? I've kinda been thinking about the PCM for a bit now but I've been going through a process of illimination of cheaper stuff first.

 

The pcm controls both spark and fuel.
