hey guys, im really at a loss with my 96 xj. a few weeks ago it started stalling out on me. i thought that it was because i was almost bone dry on fuel. but once i filled er' up she was still shutting down on me! and it got worse! now you have to try to start it 4 or 5 times to get it started. and when you do get it started, it shuts down when you try to accelerate. its also suffering severe power loss. someone said it could be the cps, however i couldnt find the cps to replace it! i swear its not there!!! please help! also, i take my xj mudding all the time, so i went to the car wash and used the power washer to wash the engine compartment. unless it is just falling apart from being so old, its either from the low fuel situation, or from me washing the engine compartment. thanks in advance for any advice you might have
