96 np231j popping noise
ok... so i just bought a new jeep. 96 4.0 aw4 231
the t case makes a popping noise that is speed related. the noise seems to be coming from the tail cone? im not sure what it is called but its the cone thing right before the slip yoke. the t case is the exposed slip yoke kind.
any help would be appreciated. i was going to take the tail cone off and inspect for anything broken inside.
