My red door trim keeps falling off. Where's the best place to buy these? Or, help me out ... it looks like most people just take these off.

 

take it off in my opinion.

 

Yeah take it off...go to your local parts store, buy some "rock guard" texture paint and paint it black...eliminate rust issue and looks good. Just my opinion.Oh yeah...you can also by an eraser wheel to take off the glue...go from the bottom body line down...and paint it all all black...even get in your door jams.

Thanks for the input. I do like the red, but the molding has been a pain. Besides, I think I want to paint this thing desert tan at some point...Cheers

 

very old thread but I have a 96 XJ Country and I cannot find my exterior lower door trip online for nothing. Probably stop by dealership sooner or later for part number but I figured I might save some time asking here.

First post here and I swear to let all dead posts die from now on.

 

Hi everyone hope all is well. I have the same problem my passenger side door trim is missing too and I have been searching all over the web for a new replacement (or second hand), Any one has any ideas or site which I could use to buy this part... its really bothering me without a complete trim or would you recommend I remove it all and buy modern trims of the grand cherokee ? I feel silly asking such a question but would like some help
