if you have an auto more than likely you have 3.55 but do double check b4 you go get something and it doesnt work. And no you cannot run two different gears sets. If you put it into 4wd then it will tear up the transfercase. So make sure you have the right gear set first and welcome to CF.

As stated above if you have an auto you have 3.55's and the only way youd have 3.73's on an auto is if you had the up country pakage, look to see if you have tow hooks on the front and skid plates and the rear axle should be a D35. If not then 3.55's. Also on the passenger side axle tube there should be a paper tag stuck to the axle and if you lucky it should still be there with the gear ration printed on it.

Do the math.
Count the ring gear teeth, and then the pinion teeth and divide the small number into the big number. Instant ratio.
Its probably stamped on the ring gear someplace too.

the numbers for the gears are on the ring gear it will be displayed like this {11-44 ] the numbers will be different for differenr ratios just divide the smaller number into the larger and thats your ratio id be more worried where the bolt went that holds the pin in for the spiders first
