Hi all I was wondering if anyone had a 96 FSM wiring diagram? As you know the 96 is different and I am about to have some fun.
The car was running perfectly I drove it around the back to fit the plastic guide the injector wires live in as mine had none.
I was careful with the brittle wires but managed to break my crank sensor plug well sorta plug the harness side was gone so it was just 3 female ends over the pins on the crank side I did have it marked but one of the pins were broken and must of touched during a start attempt . Thinking I might of killed the sensor I got another marked the wires I cut the plug off and extended the wires.
Facing the crank plug clip up top violet/white grey/black black/blue...I fitted the new sensor (what fun) and still no start?
So now this is weird? Did I crack the coolant sensor wires? I need a diagram to find where the wires come from at the pcm I suppose check the fuses first and then track the 5 volt sensor loop and see if there is a break some where?
I have a 95 fsm a 97 fsm and a 99 fsm pdf's but the wire colors are different You gotta love the 96
This is all I have and might help others
there you go mate, no need to go all the way to USA !
I notice the colors are the same as yours, so let me know if you want something different ?....this is allegedly a photocopy from the 96 paper manual that another lister digitised
awg posted some wiring diagrams for the 96 and after reading them I realized they were different to the one I had It is so hard to get electrical info for the 96 .... In my diagram left to right is power signal ground but in awg's it is power ground signal the wires on both diagrams are the same colours it's just the ground and signal are in different positions? I also checked awg's cam sensor diagram to my intact cam sensor and the wires are the same!! So I think I might have to swap 2 wires .
see what happens
