have you ever had experience with one? I’ve been hearing it’s not a death sentence for the engine both on here and from people I know. Nobody has really had much experience about it tho. I mean it runs just fine, doesn’t smoke or use oil that I know of. Since this all started I may of put 600 miles on the engine. Hasn’t used oil so far. I’d just like to hear someone say “yeah I had that problem before, Jeep ran fine for 20k like that” you know? Lol. It’s definitely a massive issue across 4.0s. Research will tell. I paid a good amount of money to put this engine in. I’d like to get my money’s worth from it. Obviously I didn’t know it had piston slap, but I’m stuck with it. I’m looking to find out as much as I possibly can about this whole piston slap thing so I know what I’m up against. My last engine had a completely demolished piston so I know what it’s like. I’m afraid to rev this engine over 2000rpm bc I’m afraid I’ll crack whatever pistons are slapping. Lol
