Back on 5/23/12 i was visiting louisville ky. While there noticed tran pan leaking witch I had new gasket last yr ,.Pulled out torg. Wrench, checked they were all loose tightend still leaks. SO I took it to AAmco transmission at breckenridge Ln. louisville KY. Had new gasket installed and trany serviced. After this noticed trany not working correctly after driving for a while, noticed fluid on pan so think not agian pan gasket. I wiped it down drove nothing, checked level and noticed I was OVER SERVICED. By now its saturday and called, was informed they where closed till Tuesday had to go back home sunday in Tennessee. Asked the individual on other end of phone if overservice will cause leaks, he replide yes it will but can,t access till tuesday. I told him had to go back to tennessee sunday he told me todad can,t do anything till tuesday. So Sunday on way home I hear a pop. fluid everywhere; and smoke. Next thing, i have to drive 150 miles 55mPH to get home stopping every hr. to check level and wip axes fluid from undercarrage. Got home but need to no what is my next step? Also what was damaged and how do i fix it? Thinks Please help!!!

the 100% same exact thing happened to my moms wrangler about ten years ago after a full tranny rebuild. the shop over filled the tranny when they reinstalled it and the tranny blew the excess fluid out of the breather on the top of the transmission.
I would feel above the tranny to see if its wet with fluid and to see if it popped the breather out for starters then go from there.
hope it helps ya

Hard lesson.
I'm 55, which means I have a few years to hear a lot about different shops, and I have NEVER heard anything good about AAMCO.
