just completed an engine swap. 95 XJ, 4.0, automatic, fuel rail with inlet and return. As part of the swap, I removed and reinstalled the intake and exhaust manifolds.
I cannot get the jeep to start.
I have verified spark. All hoses look good. The engine will fire if I put a little gas down the throttle body.
The fuel pump runs and there is fuel pressure to the inlet on the fuel rail. (determined this by disconnecting the fuel line at the rail.... not a good idea...gas sprayed everywhere!!)
When I press the schrader valve in the rail, no fuel. Nothing. I have completely removed the schrader valve and turned on the ignition and cranked the engine. Nothing.
I had a spare used fuel regulator. I switched it out on the fuel rail. Still nothing.
I disconnected the fuel return line on the rail, ran a hose to a container, switched on the ignition, cranked the engine. No fuel.

I am not sure what to try next. Any ideas?

I got the jeep running. Not one of my brightest moments... I had the supply and return lines reversed into the fuel rail....
