95 XJ - AC Compressor Clutch

I've got a 95 XJ 4.0L 6cyl that I thought had developed an engine knock. I popped the hood and found the noise was coming from the the pulley area on the AC compressor. Finding it was just the AC and not the engine felt like I dodged a bullet. If you turn the AC on the noise mostly goes away.

I'm trying to determine if I am looking at replacing a bearing, clutch, or the entire AC compressor. If it's the entire unit, what years are compatible?

When you popped the hood, did the motor look like a V, or look like an I?

But if the noise is coming from the compressor when the clutch is off, I'd suspect the pulley.
