What is this? I have searched online for about 2 hours looking for this fricken part and come up with nothing. I am typing in Dome light, header Console, even the p/n number right on the circuit board. I am getting frustrated like no other, this is my last resort till I drill a hole and call it good.

Here is what I am trying to do: 95 interior swap to a 98 interior. So far so good. Headliner is going up and can be installed with no problem but I need I would like to install the domelights as well. Rear dome light I needed to switch around two of the three wires. That ones done now the one in the front. Wires switched but what is this other piece. The wireharness is the same but instead of just plugging it in I looked at the wires first. Wires from the 98 harness are different colors and in different locations for example where there is a wire attached in the pin 1 location in the 95 there is no wire attached in the pin 1 on the 98. There are the same amounting of pins on the 95 and 98 (12 total). Please if anyone know where I can get this info on the pin outs for these it would be very appreciated.

According to a 94-96 parts catalog on page 8a-450a its a compass/temperature module. I have not seen any type of compass reader in my jeep but I really don't need that anyways but I would like to install the 98 one. I am finally getting somewhere with this but still need as much help as I can get with the 95 to 98 pin outs or harness read out.

I was able to back track to where I downloaded my 95 fsm and found one for a 97-00. I found everything that was needed to switch my wires over but noticed that a few of the wires were completely different. I ended the wires on 95 fabricated compass pcb and mounting it in the 98 dome light housing. Everything works and now I am now working on something else.
