Default 95 Cherokee weird turning signal issue

Here is the problem. My front turn signals when activated with the level, just turn on and don't blink like the should. The rear signals blink when I do that but the blink very quickly. When the emergency lights are activated, again only the rears go on and they operate at the normal speed . I noticed I had no fuse for my flashers put in so I replaced that. Checked all bulbs and they are ok. Replaced relay for flashers too. Not sure what else I should check. If anyone has any tips let me know. This just started to happen after I removed my fenders to remove some dents. I appreciate any help you can give me.

Sounds like a wire rubbed through and could be shorting. My running lights turn on when i hit the brakes... Sounds like we all have our own gremlins. I would follow all the wires as best as you can.

would that cause the rear turn signals to blink that fast as well?

The reason it blinks fast in the rear is to let you know if you had a "burnt out bulb" in the front. If you said your bulbs checked out well. Check connections at the bulb and clean up any corrosion, then follow the wires and make sure connections on the harness are clean as well. It could be a simple connection or a split wire when you had stuff apart.
