Got my Cherokee sport home today (see post about water leak).

When I checked it out from the seller, power windows and locks work.

BUT the back doors wont open from the out side just from the inside.

Any ideas?

my guess is they are just worn out, when you push the handle button does it have good travel or feel kind of mushy?

My thinking as well. Pop the door panels and see if the rods move when you use the outside handle.

Any links on how to pop the door panels with out messing things up? Haven't done that since the 70's or 80's ��

I will look in the chiltons my brother loaned me and check YouTube.

If there's a better way someone has found I am always looking for good advice.
