Exclamation 95 cherokee blinker problem

Ok so i bought 95 cherokee 2 door off a front for 500$ it only has one issue which i thought would be a minor and its not.....the blinkers woulnt work i replaced the flasher all the fuses are fine and i replaced the multifunction stalk so its all new parts but still no blinkers .....everything else works even the hazards i have been scratching my head for a week trying to figure this out and got nowhere im a do it yourself kinda person id rather not spend 600$ getting it fixed at a shop its only blinkers!! I went to a junkyard and found 95 four door and the whole steering column and everything was different so as i was leaving i saw a grand cherokee and just for ****s and giggles i looked at that and for reasons i cant fogure out it was the same the only differnce was the wiper switch mines only two speeds this was intermittent.....PLEASE HELPPPP

Did you replace the multifunction switch with a new one or a used one?

Hi! Junior Jeeper here! Fifteen actually lol! My Mom owned mine basically my entire life...On a boiling summer day in Southern California on the 15 Freeway doing 75 Miles an hour...Our Jeep decides to play some tricks on us!! There they go in the middle of a lane change, bye bye blinkers!!! The main cause was a plug inside the steering column was loose or something like that. It was the multi-function box thing...if you have a 95 then you have the steering wheel and everything with the airbag so something tells me that's what it may be....then again you may think I'm a total moron and know nothing! Was just my experience. LOL, Mine is a 1995 Jeep Cherokee 2D, 2WD, Five Speed that my Mother bought for $500 in 1998. xD WHAT A AWFULLY WEIRD WAY TO COME ACROSS A POST. Good luck!

i have decided to just bite the bullet and get a shop to look at it ...they said they would diagnose it for free and i would just have to pay for the parts so i cant pass that up
