Default 95 Cheroke Sport Door Leak

My driver side front door on my 95 Cheroke just started leaking. The other day I noticed that suddenly I'm getting a lot of road noise. It seems as though the top edge of the door doesn't come flush with the door frame when the door is closed. The passenger door does. I tried to adjust the door latch inward so that it might draw the door in a bit when latched closed, but it did no good. It's raining today and my front seat is wet.
Is there any adjustment that I'm overlooking? The gaskets are all in tact and it seems odd the this happen so suddenly.
I did get rear ended a couple of weeks ago and it bent the rear bumper. Not sure if that would affect door alignment.

Roll the window down put your knee or hip on the inside door panel and pull a little at a time on the window frame. Don't go crazy it will move. You can check the gap by putting a piece of paper in the doorjam when you close it.

You know, I thought about doing that but then I figured that's never going work. After I saw your reply to my post, I went out and tried it.
I rolled down the window and tugged on the upper part of the window frame. It didn't feel like it moved, but it did! It worked!. No more road noise and mo more leaks! Thanks for the advice. This is a great news group.

I wonder how it got bent in the first place... it seemed to happen quick. One day it was okay, the next day I heard the loud road noise.
