94 XJ Rear tail light sockets found
I found them at O'Riley's for 5.99 They were for a ford, but fit in my jeep. they were on the shelf with the light bulbs. I replaced two brake light sockets and they are working fine.

I've been all over looking for something to work with my tail light... except oreilly's. I couldn't find anything that looked like it would lock into place correctly, I will have to check that out before I run off to the junk yard.

Did you ever have with finding sockets Shock? Still looking for mine, been to 3 of the 4 auto part stores in town, as well as the Chrysler/Jeep dealer, and so far I've only found (100% positive anyway) the reverse light socket at Carquest, but still searching for the Parking/Brake and Parking/Turn sockets.

Well on my jeep, there are 4 lights per tail light... turn signal and reverse are the same, the brake/tail light, and a small side brake light... I only needed the tail/brake socket, and I did find it at oreillys. Everywhere else had a bunch of generic useless stuff, but I imagine oreillys would have the other sockets as well. As they are exactly the same, but for a single filament bulb instead of a double.

To clarify... turn signal and reverse lights are 2 different lights, but the use the same kind of socket. Even since I've found mine I've stopped in other places just to see, and haven't seen anything that would work ANYWHERE but oreilly... crazy.
I know this is a dead thread, but hopefully youre still an active user.
Any chance you remember what the specific part you found was called or looked like?
I came to find out that my tail light sockets are allllll rusted out (just bought the jeep 2 weeks or so ago), and they need to be replaced. The mechanic said they would have to buy the parts and it would cost $120 per tail light. I dont exactly wanna pay all that much, so if you have any advice, i would appreciate it.
Oh and yes, a junk yard is an option, but i would prefer a new part.
Thank you!
I need the sockets for the backup, brake, and signal bulbs in my rear tail light for my old 94 XJ. I think this may work >
