My son in-law has a 94 (same as mine) and it will not even try to crank over. We put a Brand New starter in and it does the same thing. We jumped the solenoid and it starts right up. The starter was tried in another jeep and works fine...I'm at a loss here so any help would be appreciated...Tj

 

Have you checked the starter relay?

 

Yep changed it with another one (took it out of my truck) and no difference I'm pretty stumped here and thats unusual for me ...lol...Tj

 

Yeah, I can't believe it Joe. I'm totally out of guesses here, unless it's a bad ignition switch, or bad/dirty connector. Sorry.

OK it started this morning and then just stopped starting again????...Tj

 

If it is a auto tranny try starting it in neutral moove the shifter around when trying to start it you might have a neutral/safety switch going bad or out of whack. also check the connector at the tranny.
