I need some extra parts for my Cherokee sport. I have a guy in the next town parting out a 99. Mine is a 94. It looks to me like the two models are the same, not much change over the years. Am I correct, or are there differences that should make me leary? Thanks

Yup. The devil is in the details. Some parts will work, but probably the majority will not.
Usually a salvage yard can tell you what fits and what doesn't for body parts, and rockauto.com is a good source to find application data for other parts.

Minor things - carpet, tail lights, not sure whole list of items. They just looked similar body style wise so I thought they would be interchangable (that would make to much sense). Thanks

none of the interior is the same. the center console can be made to work. the carpet is different because the newer ones have a different floor pan. Same with the front seats. Alot of the engine bay stuff won't work as well as alot of it has changed. coolant bottle, washer res, ect. The front end is obviously different along with the fenders. the hatch is different as it is metal instead of fiberglass and a different shape. the tailights are rounder then the older ones and won't work. The doors work and is a common upgrade since they don't have the little front window. the mirrors can be bolted on as well
