Default 94 Cherokee window switches not working

This is odd to me. All 4 of my windows will roll down....but ONLY from the driver controls. If you try to use the switch on any of the doors besides the driver, nothing works.

I've taken off the switch panel and switched around the toggle switches and nothing changes.

It's almost like a "child lock" switch is engaged. There's a switch for that on the drivers controls, but i've messed with it and nothings changed.

What in the world could this be? What should I check next?

For me it was the and issue with the control module itself. I took the door card off and remove the window/lock module. I took a flat head and spaced out the male connectors inside the module and plugged it all back up and I was in business. If that doenst work I know there is a paper clip trick you can do it bypass the module but then you lose your electric locs if i recall. Maybe someone else will chime in. Ultimately if you want to you can just pickup a new window/lock module and should be good to go pending its not a wiring problem.

THanks. I don't see how it could be a wiring problem. I mean, maybe one window....but all 3? It's got to be SOMETHING in that "pack" on the drivers door. I'll go home and mess with it some more.

It does have window lock. I've taken that switch out and swapped it with the door lock/unlock switch.....and that function still worked. Leave it to me to have a unique problem on something thats been around forever! Damn, I suck.

Well, I have a 94.....my connector isn't anything like that one.

Ok, so I tore the door apart and found the same color wires goto the lockout switch. Jumped them together.........nothing. So, back to square one.

Im talking like a wiring problem from the connector/wire that runs the signal that says that window lock is on/off. Again messign with the wires got the light to flicker off and on with mine but as soon as i spaced out the pins i was good to go.

I'll give it another go when it's not 100 degree's outside. My sweat probably shorted anything out that might've worked yesterday!

my 2000 has the same exact problem, but every once in awhile they all work by themselves but its only usually when theres alot of moisture in the air like after a carwash or at the beach, which makes me think its a short in the window lock
