94 cherkoee trans problem Torque convertor

Default 94 cherkoee trans problem Torque convertor

How can you tell if torque converter is bad my 94 would not come out of second gear unless you manual shift it went to take it to have ECU read and it would not come out of 1st turn around and went back home when I stoped it shut off put in park and started and ran fine untill I put it back in gear it shut off again every time I put it in gear it shuts off runs fine it park

uhm what?

if it wont shift, your throttle position sensor is probably bad.

X2, try the TPS first b4 spending hundreds on a new TC or Trans...Tj
