Was getting into the free way this morning and all of the sudden my XJ started to shake on the right side real bad. I drove it a couple miles and then it smoothed out again, no odd engine RPMs, no warning lights. It felt like my front right brake was grabbing. Once i got off the free way I noticed that whenever you used the brakes it would pull hard to the right, the brake pedal felt tighter too. I got to where I was going and parked it. A couple minutes ago I got in it to bring it down to the auto shop to get it looked at and now it wont start. At first it still gave the buzzing but when you turn the key into the start position everything goes dead. Now it just plain wont do anything, no lights or gauges, nothing. The battery is brand new, there are no blown fuses either. So where should I start? Of course it is pouring down rain but I need my XJ up and running so I am willing to get soaked to fix it. Any help much appreciated. Thanks!

 

Alternator? Bad ground?

 

I have an update. I cleaned the battery terminals and now it starts. However I have not yet drove it again to see if it still has the brake issue. My grandpa suggested my brakes are just wet and to wait until later to try it out and see if the problem is still there. Thanks!
