ok so an update to my xj problem... as i have stated i have to turn my key forward and back multiple times to get the fuel pump and ses light to kick on before it will start, it will crank at all times but now i found that untill the ses light and fuel pump prime it has no spark as well.... so what are your ideas, i replaced ignition switch, checked continuity on the neutral safety switch, and have replaced and tested fuses and ballasts and relays

Check all of your powers and grounds to the pcm, load all of the circuits, instead of a test light use a headlamp bulb, if this is ok check the asd relay in the box, this relay is grounded by the pcm to turn on fuel, coil, inj ect.

ok u said pcm but 93 cherokees dont have a pcm do they... lol unless u are talking about the ecm .. but i may have found the problem we will see i am currently uninstalling a remote start system that was deffinatley not a factory install all the ignition wires are stripped and the remote start wires are twisted to them some are not even tapped it was well hidden in a loom so im kinda glad that i atleast found this so my jeep didnt burn down lol
