I have a 1993 Sport 4.0 4x4 automatic that isn't starting.
Here is what's going on..
I have power to everything except my starter.
-BRAND NEW Battery
-Good starter (tested 3 times at O'Reilly's)
-No corroded terminals, or bad wires
-Replaced the starter relay, and any associated fuses
When I turn my key I get power to everything (dash, lights, horn, fuel pump, etc) but when I turn the key all the way to ign. nothing happens. I thought it might have been the NSS but it is clean, and I've tried starting in neutral and shifting and all of that.
- Ive been reading threads and replaced the relay, still nothing. Tried all of the shifting tricks, nothing. I have full power to the starter from the battery, but something is going wrong in between the key and the starter.
From what I have read, I should try replacing the ignition switch...
Any ideas or advice?
Thanks in advance!

Hello. What do you mean the NSS is "clean"? I would try bypassing it just to see what happens before tearing into the ignition switch. The NSS is easy to bypass by looping the 2 black wire together.Originally Posted by Beowulf21

By any chance did you ever find that issue? I am now having the exact same problem.
