93 horn location
Where exactly is the horn located on a 93? Is it behind the plastic wheel well or do I have to take off the front trim piece to get to it?
If its behind the wheel well any suggestions on how I can get behind there without breaking alot of those plastic tabs?

Easily acessed from underneath.
Depemding if your XJ has/had the rubber shield, you should be able to see it by lloking UP from below.
If the shield is still there, it should be flexible enough to move to the side.
But if you really want to access it from the wheelwell, you only need to deal with one to two of the plastic push-in fasteners. With a few years of aging on them, they will mostlikely snap, but easily replaced with new ones.
Depending on the trim level (model) XJ you have there MAY be more than one horn.
I know on our 91 LAREDO ther is one on driver's side and another on passenger's side.

hmm I guess I'll look around for it. I dont like moving the rubber. I don't have time to go and get new fasteners. I'm tempted to just take it in for inspection without the horn. I'll see if I can get to it by taking the grill and all off. Otherwise I'll give it a shot. Last time I passed I said oo it must have just broken and they let it slide.
