'93 Electrical Issues
Hi everyone, I'm new here. Just bought my first Jeep yesterday, a '93 Cherokee Country. It has some electrical issues but other than that it runs like a horse. Not a bad pickup for $550 in my opinion. I wanted to get some advice from some experienced Jeep people on the issue this has:
The previous owner had the ignition switch break on him. He wired a switch to the starter, but the ignition switch broke further causing loss of power to several of the accessories (radio, int. lights, etc.). He replaced the ignition switch but they still don't work. It still has headlights, taillights, brake lights, but no turn signals. The cruise works, however, and I was able to get the wipers to work once last night but not since then. My dad thought that maybe the multifunction switch would be the issue, but I was leaning more toward wiring/grounding issue. What do you guys think?

Multifunction Malfunction
Take a good look at the multifunction switch. I have a 93 Country as well and have replaced it once and still have no washers on the front. Not an easy fix but will be tearing it apart soon...again. Good luck.

could be the turn signal arm, multifuntion switch and if the wipers are sometimes working and sometimes not, you may have a bad intermittent wiper module(if you have Intermittent wipers.
