'93 Cherokee Clutch Issues
Hey, guys! Jeep's been down a while due to tranny failure (AX-5 aka Crap). Got a new one along with a brand new clutch kit w/ clutch, pressure plate, throwout bearing, lines, etc....
Just got it all installed today, but there's now an issue that we CANNOT figure out for anything. Bled the clutch and got really good pressure, took it for a drive up the street to test when all the sudden the pressure goes away. I put it in neutral and pumped it back up which worked. Pressure went back to normal.
Pulled into the driveway and lost it again, but regained it by pumping it again. There is a drip coming from the bellhousing, but it doesn't seem bad enough to cause THAT big of a pressure loss?
Can anyone help me out with this? I'm at a total loss....The only other thing I could think of is a cracked line going to the throwout bearing or Chrysler changed something at some point.

So, did a little investigating today and discovered the old steel clutch lines going into the throwout bearing are about 1-2/1000ths smaller....Put a couple small o-rings on it and it did fit a lot tighter. Maybe this will help you think?

U tell us. I seem to remember a few posts on trouble with that line to the slave. Find the leak of course. I just put cardboard under my 84 to verivy what I already knew, my exterior slave is peeing inside. It's bleeder being completely plugged made that relatively simple diagnosis take quite a long time.
