You have to pull the whole dash assembly out of the vehicle before you can remove the upper pad, there are screws that go up from the bottom to secure it.

For 1993!
Dash pad?
On top, has speaker grills and black defrost grill on the front of it?

3 screws in the top of the instrument cluster, into the bottom of the dash.

Take the center radio/ac/VIC bezel off, then 2 screws into the bottom of the dash.

2 screws into the bottom of the dash from inside the glove box.

Remove the defrost vent, it just pops in. Will have 1 or 2 sensor that twist out of the bottom. Remove the 4 screws hidden by the black panel.

2 kind of spring loaded "studs" over top of the outer most AC vents, pry up gently and they will disengage.

If you are trying to go deeper than this, Im NOT the right person to ask.
