92 Cherokee towing cross country...bad idea?
I have a 92 Cherokee and am renting a small 4x8 enclosed trailer to take a set of wheels and tires along with a bed and a few other small things from Florida to Michigan. I was just looking for some input on things I should look out for or any safety precautions I can take to not destroy my transmission or anything else along the way. Thanks

1. tranny cooler.
2. don't exceed 4,000lbs. XJ's are rated for 5,000 pounds but you're better off staying below that.
3. Proper tire pressure on the XJ and trailer.
4. Keep your safety chains crossed at all times.
