Changed out the brakelight switch nothing.

I swapped 4 way flashers with my buddy's and nothing swapped them back and now we both have the same problems...

#6 fuse is only in the Renix not the 91 or 92 that now have this issue..

SAME PROBLEM!! My 93 xj has no brake lights or hazards...everything else works fine. Minus the sterio and dome light. need some help please!

Same problem, No break lights and No 4 way flash. Was like this when we bought it.

Schematics in Hayes manual do not seem to match this vehicle, a 91 Laredo!

Found red wire dangling next to the battery. Previous owner must have disconnected it. Hooked it up to + terminal on battery. Break lights and 4 way now working fine.

there should be a yellow maxi 20amp fuse in the box under the hood mine was missing for some reason and that was my problem i just overlooked it because nothing was there hope that helps any

Wow. Mine was the little red wire going from the battery to the fuse block. It was just hanging there. I never would have had a clue if it wasn't for this thread.

Dont know if you have found out your issue or not but i have an easy fix for the no breaklights or hazards. I had the same issue. I simply ran direct hot to inline fuse to the pink wire with black stripe "91 cherokee" .. im not getting any hot to that wire like i should. Now i have break lights and hazards... welcome.
