hasnt worked since i bought it. then today it worked for about 4 miles then stopped again. i have a manual inline 6 4.0. from what ive read the sensor is plugged into the t case. but all i see is break lines. im thinkin what i see on the transmission is the sensor. also. its an electric not cable. any suggestions.

pull sensor and clean off tip see what happens

if the speedo gear is not installed in the right position wont work. look at the numbers on the side of speedo and what gear you have. I believe the number should face to the rear of vehicle. or the unit itself is bad. only need a 1/2 inch wrench to pull it.

Where the heck is it tho. And it worked earlier today then stopped again
