I have a 91 jeep Cherokee and the rear end is shot. I need a Dana 35 3.07, I found a 94 wrangler rear axle Dana 35 3.07. Is this compatible? Also it needs new gears, which would you recommend?

 

The wrangler axle will work, but it won't be a bolt in swap, you will need to cut off all the wrangler brackets & weld leaf perches onto it! Your better off scouring the local junyards for a Cherokee with the right gears.

 

Isn't a 94 a yj with leafs ?

 

Not a wrangler guy, but weither it is or isn't the leafs probably won't be the same placement as the XJ

 

Just a reminder...if you change the rear gears to a new ratio, the front gears will have to be changed to match.
