Ive got a 91 Cherokee Laredo 4.0L 4x4 and the fuel tank is leaking at the seam so I can only fill it to the halfway point before i start a flood at the gas pump. Does anyone know up to what year cherokee i could interchange my tank with. Im tryin to see how new of a cherokee i can go so i can increase my odds of finding a fuel tank that doesnt have the same problem. Thanks guys!

 

is it leaking from the seam or the gasket at the fuel pump? mine was leaking from the fuel pump gasket few minutes to throw a new one in and good to go.

If it is the tank leaking anything up to 96 will work (make sure its a metal tank)

Also, the older tanks are designed better, the pump is much easier to service, so if you decide to swap tanks, keep with your style.
