Ok It's been a few years since this has had a posting, I'm the owner of three jeeps, 1969, 1991 and 2013. The one I've owned the shortest amount of time is the 1991 Comanche, and I may have unwittingly bought via a short test drive, Liked the truck, clean drove good, fair price, let my son drive it 3 weeks and he was complaining about ruff idle when the engine warmed up. Did a tune up, including gas line filter, new iridium plugs, cap, rotor, later re-maned fuel injectors, IAC and Ox sensor. no change, went to a shop (they did lost of checks and replacement parts returned all my parts) no luck, and thanks to the owner no charge, I'm thinking a shot in the dark get a ECM and change it my self. As I was removing the ECM from the fender and detached the connector, I noticed the plastic across from one pin on the connector had melted away, hummmm, I'm going to attempt to repair this myself, as I have no great reason to believe the ECM is bad. That in fact information to or from the unit is/was intermittent, or unavailable. More to come...
