Default 90 xj trans problem

first off id like to introduce myself. My name is Rob from PA fairly new to the jeep thing. 1990 XJ 4.0 AW4 np242 3 inch lift 31x10.50. Here is what happend. I was offroading with my jeep last week and had TONS of problems as i was leaving the woods. First my center pin broke and shifted my rear axle back. Second my rear driveshaft fell out of the transfer case. Third my transfer case blew up and fell out from underneath the jeep with the front drive shaft following it. Fourth i broke the lower control arm mounting brackets on my front axle.

So I then fixed the centerpin in the leaf springs, i put in a spare np231 that i had laying around and also put a new front axle underneath it. I fired the vehicle up and put it in drive and got NOTHING, so I put it in reverse...NOTHING, I then put it into 1-2 and 3....NOTHING, When i put it back into park there was a short lived whining noise everytime. We figured I had smoked the transmission So i replaced it with a know good one over the weekend and sure as ****....SAME PROBLEM, I then thought maybe the transfer case i put in was bad so I borred an np242 from a friends RUNNING jeep.......STILL no drive reverse or anything and it still grinds going into park. We have checked the linkage position on the transfer case and the transmission and all seems good... can anyone give me some insight here to what this could be?

Thanks!
