Default 90 xj with Morso Radiator Hose Filler?

I'm thinking about installing the Moroso radiator hose filler into the upper hose. Are there any draw backs or issues with this method? What's the diameter of the upper hose, 1.5" or 1.25" ?

I will eventually swap out the radiator for an open system, but now is not the right time for me. I need a quick fix to replace the pressure bottle because its leaking/loosing pressure again. I think its the cap.

I have one that I still need to swap in.

When I asked the parts store to measure both ends of a new hose they said they were different.

I will be doing my best to convert the pressure bottle to an overflow bottle, and I have a spare in case I mess it up.

Don't forget that the pressure bottle must be replaced with a bottom fill recovery bottle.

Didn't know about that, good call and thank you. Do the 91' and up xj's have this bottom fill recovery style bottle?

Where should i splice the upper hose? I was thinking about putting it right above the a/c compressor on the heat bracket? Seems to be a high point but not sure about the clearance.

Yes, any XJ with a radiator cap on the radiator will have the bottle.

find a place to install it on renix is the problem just get a after market cooling bottle , and install it in place of the pressure bottle and plumb the heater core direct from the motor

Also, the recovery bottle must have a vented cap (no pressure).
