Hi all, I was working on my driver's side motor mount and some wiring was in the way. When I moved it over (gently) I noticed a plug hanging from the harness. It has a plug like the injectors with a lock clip. I went to my FSM/PDF and I think it goes to the knock sensor. I located the sensor (without contacts) just above the oil pan ridge.





Is this the knock sensor? She's running great without it, but I need to know what to replace. Thanks gang.

 

Yep, that's it.

Assuming you can get the rest of the broken connector out, you can replace the sensor.

BTW, Will I loose oil when I remove it? It looks pretty high.
