90 chwerokee over heating
halp!! need fresh minds. i towed a motocycle home the other day and the second i stopped and shut the jeep off i got hot coolant out my res cap. i thought it was my thermostat. replaced that still no fix, i had put a new pump in a few months back and it works fine(and my belts are properly installed) i have no heat and it seems as though its not circulating. thought it culd be an air bubble and such but i also know that sometimes i culd have a clog somewere and want to hear other peoples thoughts and any personal experiances are welcome! please help i miss driving my jeep! :h elp:
btw. any haters who want to thrash my thread saying oh just use the search bar. shut up please i searched and did some looking before i posted.thanks

Not familiar with the jeeps cooling but i would do a complete radiator flush, then once you do that fill the radiator itsself up with coolant (then leave the lid off) start the vehicle when your thermostat opens up it will cycle the coolant you can look with a flashlight and see if you have any clogged up radiator parts (some of them) once it starts cycling you should see water spirting out if there is only like 1 or 2 spirting you deff have some clogging, dont run for too long fill up with the correct amount of coolant after it cycles once

Cooling issues are fun
I fixed mine by replacing the radiator and flushing the heather core and then burping the system to get the air out. A 21 year old radiator can have alot of rust and crap in them. The radiator i got was from napa and it was a 3 row. Problem solved problem fixed. Hopefullly.
